Mezi is a Canadian-based poet, photographer, and Zen student. He currently lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the traditional and unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

 

Mezi's work has been featured in events and journals across North America, including publications in Sidereal Magazine and RPD Society. In April 2017, he published his poetry collection, Medellín, as a fundraiser for the benefit of refugees. Previously, he published Pigeon (FriesenPress, 2015), a debut anthology of visual poetry and short fiction.
